The Timeline application is in simple terms a large database and a time display area.
Events are created and stored in the database to be displayed on the timeline axis.
The data entry section explains how to create new Events and set the way these Events are displayed.

There are 2 main date entry sections:

 

  • Events   ( 9 Articles )

    The term 'Event' is used to describe something that has happened or will happen in the future. The Event name will be shown on the timeline axis, the date attached to the Event will dictate the position of the each Event on the timeline axis.

    This section explaines how to create and edit Events.
    To create a new Event use the New Event button on the Tool bar.
    To edit an existing Event place cursor over the Event and Right Click to display the Edit Event box. 

     

  • Groups   ( 1 Articles )

    Groups are use to categorise and link Event together with a common colours, fonts and icons.

    This section explaines how to create and edit Groups.
